I have a Yamaha 200 hp 1986 model. I have had my tilt motor in for overhaul, they change the bearings. When I tilt the engine down the bracket between up/down/start - relay get very warm. I have measured over the relays and it is 12 volt when I run the motor. Please advise.

check the ground strap that should be from the relays to the block. sounds like its trying to ground through the bracket.
