yamaha 2000 f115 4 stroke dies at high rpm. It will run all day at moderate rpms. engine will start after several minutes of rest. exaust stream strong at mod. rpms. too rough to test at high rpms right now. 2nd engine running fine.

do you have the factory yamaha digitaal tachs and has the alrm system been tested? if its not an alarm issue its most likly going to be fuel. test the high pressure fuel rail while its acting up. the filter on the HP pump maay be clogged.

the filter that is internal in the engine that is prior to entering the fuel injectors could be clogged. I had this problem with a 4 stroke 200 hp engine. This filter is the size of a nickel and very expensive to replace. over $1000. Shell gas payed for the repair for me because i was able to prove that this was the only gas i used. warrantee will not cover this problem because of contaminated fuel.
