newbie alert - question re fuel to motor

:confused: <br /><br />Hi there, I am new to boating and am thinking of buying a Yamaha 430S Sport inflatable with aluminium hull. The engine will be a 25hp Yamaha F25AES, my question is this....<br /><br />is the fuel to the motor fed from a separate onboard tank or does the motor have an integral tank that is part of the engine.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />John

This motor size has no built-in tank. It is normally supplied with an external tank but some boats have a built-in that can be used instead. Inflatables have no built-in tank as they are meant to be easy to transport. An external tank can be removed for refuelling, too.
