Yamaha 2hp No Spark

Hello Everyone,<br /> I have a late 1980's - early 90's Yamaha 2hp. 2 stroke. It just won't fire up. Im pretty sure it has no spark. Can anyone help me with what might be causing this? Thank You<br /><br />Thanks for your help everyone, yes i am sure it has no spark. I was thinking it could be the kill switch but I wasn't sure if they went bad or not. I don't see a coil, its a real small simple engine but maybe I over looked it. Thank you again for your help, Ill keep you all updated. Thank you

If it has a kill switch, you may want to give that a check as well.<br />Backlash

Are you sure it has no spark? You said that you were pretty sure, but did you actually check? That would be step 1. If it turns out that it does have spark, then that opens a door to a whole lot of other problems. Let us know.
