I rebuilt the carbs on my 1984 Yamaha 150. The appendix in the Seloc repair manual was not clear as to the setting of the carb pilot screws. it says to set them at 2 3/8 turns out for engines with serial numbers 750101 to 750150. My serial # is 750451 and it gives no indication what the setting should be for serial numbers outside of that range.It says the setting for an 85 yam 150 should be 1 1/8. Since this setting is so much lower than the other I am reluctant to try it for fear of running the engine too lean and damaging the pistons. Any help would be appreciated.
