What is the typical life expectancy for the fuel pump? Since the engine is 5 years old, I am considering replacing certain aging parts before they go bad.
Hi!I heard yesterday that the diaphragm in the fuel pump should be changed every 5 year.We have a 20Hp 1987 Yamaha with some running problems. This could be the fuel pump causing problems because it has newer been overhauled.I think that regular service operations should be mentioned in a service manual for the engine. Robbi
