1978 Evinrude 85HP Spark Plug Gap

Can anyone tell me what the spark plug gap should be for a 1978 Evinrude 85HP Outboard?

Welcome to Iboats, JFE!

.030" for normal use. If you do a lot of trolling you might want to try .040". Plug should be a (Q)L77JC4 Champion.
