I have a 1989 8hp Yamaha, ran fine last Friday. Saturday morning it started fine, ran for about 30 seconds, then quit & wouldn't restart. One plug looked a little fowled, cleaned out & checked spark, no help. Runs for about 2 seconds on ether. Fuel is fresh, full tank & filter isn't clogged. Choke & throttle linkage looks okay. Any ideas, clogged idle circuit or bad fuel pump? I can't get ANYTHING except on a short ether squirt which I only did twice (don't want to damage engine).<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Mark Biederbeck
