1991 200HP Yamaha Broken Crankshaft
A buddy of mine has given me some info on his 200 yammie, this is the second time that he has experienced a break in his crank. the first time was an internal break and the powerhead was replaced with a shortblock. This latest time the crank broke just under the flywheel. Is there anyone who may know of this happening to these 200's or does he just have bad luck with it? The local dealer suggested that his flywheel may be out of balance and that may be the cause. Any info or help would be appreciated.
