85 Yamaha 40ET/LK Water Pump Impeller

I need to replace the water pump impeller in my 1985 Yamaha 40 ETLK for the first time since I have owned it. I know I need to drop the lower unit and when I remove the 4 bolts (2 on each side), it does not drop. What am I missing here. Any help on this specific model would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you need to remove the anode and remove a bolt that's located under it. This will then let loose the 'back' portion and you can then drop it.

I forgot to mention you need to undo the shift linkage as well.
