Engine displacement for MErcury 115 straight 6

Hi people, good forum.<br /><br />I have a Mercury 115 straight 6 outboard. Its the early Blue Band and Ive been told its aged between 1973 and 1982.<br /><br />Would anyone be able to tell me what the engine size is?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Graham

or 1.6L if your the metric type!<br /><br />still to this day, was and is still the king of HP per cubic inch displacement!<br /><br />99CID made 150HP<br /><br />if a 183 CID omc v6 made 1.5hp per cid, it would make 275hp. close but no cigar<br /><br />even the merc v6s of famous lore , the 2.5v6 wich is 153 CID , if it made 1.5hp per CID, it would make 230hp. except thay have made more, much more. merc , man, they just have a flare for this zhit !
