while fishing last trip engine began to sputter.when I returned home to flush engine it would not turn over checked the flywheel and found it was stuck,the engine was in neutral.could it be the crankshaft or what? thanks for help

Could be alot of things .Pull the spark plugs out and see if that makes a difference.If so then do a compression test and look at the plugs for signs of water ingestion.If not then drop the gearcase to make sure this is not the area of bindation.Is BINDATION,even a word?
