Any surefire formula(s) to decarb the above mentioned engine. I have been told that additives and anything other than regular gasoline and TW3 oil may damage the engine. Also how do I know when it needs decarbing and lastly this process will remove carbon build up from the valves right? Please forgive my ignorance...

Use seafoam. Go to FAQ and read on decarbing. <br />Tim

Like Tim says use seafoam. Works good, just did my 150 V6 yesterday. Mix 16oz of seafoam 3oz of tcw 3 oil and 3/4 gallon of gas. This will be enough for 4, 15min intervals. Run for 15min and let it set for 15min. Oh send the neighbors in the house. It will smoke alot.Good luck. Joe
