Yamaha 4, 2 stroke, dies after a few minutes running.

Has any one out their had similar problems and figured out the cause ?

The engine starts and runs fine for 10 minutes or so then dies suddenly.gets harder to start each time and runs for a few minutes less.Service guy reckons they flushed the fuel system out.Is it fuel or electrical ?We run a suzuki 2 on the same fuel mix with no problems.

The engine has been twice to a local marina for service-they reckon it runs for an hour on the test rig.

Managed to solve the problem-engine overheating.

Water comes out of the pee hole for a few minutes then turns to spluttering steam followed by death.
