Need a site i can find used or abused outboards

A few years ago I got a 1984 90 HP Evivrude, this motor always ran OK, as I serviced it for 20 years. The guy that owned it, broke the lower unit, & being he was near 80 years old decided to buy a brand new 90, just for relibility reasons, & gave me the old one. So it sits in the garage, begging to be put back together. I'm looking for a site to buy a motor w/ a blown up head, to make 1 good out of 2 broken. Thanks, Joe

I don't think you'll find a site like that. But check around your local dealers. Most have a pile of junk motors in a back corner. You also might try eBay. That's full of junk motors, some presented as good. "Ran good the last time I used it" (the part of the sentence that is never said ... "UNTIL IT BROKE"). ;)

Definitely contact the site from upinsmoke. I used parts locally at their old location and now with the new suburban location, I am sure they can help. They have motors that work, motors that could work and parts for old motors. A real outboard recycle area.
