Need advise on diagnosing oil leak on my MDL# T9.9ELRX. Engine runs great. Plan to sell motor but should I fix leak first? How difficult is it to change gaskets? Which gasket might need replacing and is this an expensive repair?

First step is to find out where on the motor the oil is leaking. Where on the motor do you see a oil puddle, or do you think you have a oil leak beacuse the level drops on the dip stick? If you have visible oil on the power head, clean it off as best you can run the motor with the cover off and see if you can find the source of the leak. A valve cover gasket would be a easy fix, a head gasket would be more work ect let us know if you can see the area that has the leak.
