Does anyone have experiance with the ball type scupper? I am considering installing these on my 20' Chapparall cudy cabin. The current rubber flap type is allowing a lot of water intrusion and not bailing correctly. Any thoughts anyone?

Re: Scuppers

Just replace the rubbers in the ones you have. When the rubbers get old they dont work like they should. Most scuppers will alow some water to intrude.

Re: Scuppers

I've never had the ball scuppers on any of my boats but have demoed boats that have them. They seem to work better than the rubber ones but it makes me wonder what happens if you get some debris inside the cone blocking the ball from returning to the closed position. I'd stick with the rubber ones since we know they work.
