any ideas on what would cause a blown head gasket . right at the heat sensor alarm. had used pennzoil for the life of the boat and then switched to wal-mart super tech 2 cycle oil. ran it approx 3 to 4 hours and then problems. has anyone had problems with their 1998 130 hp salt water series motors. will be walking the streets waiting for a reply. the mailman

mailman,Typically, what pops head gaskets is excess heat.Have a good look at the cylinders when the head is off. I doubt this was oil related.Make sure both heads are retorqued after one heat up/cool down session after replacement.
