glasspar cutlas transom

I have an unk. year glasspar cutlas tri hull 17' with a 1984 70 two stroke . Is a 2006 yamaha 90 four stroke too heavy for the transom. Thanks

It shoukd be OK. I have a 16'4" Glasspar Cutlas and the plaque says it is rated for 140 Horse Power. I have a 85 HP on it now. Look under the driver's side console. There should be plate that tell you how much wieght and HP is allowed on that boat.
