How to find year of my mercury 200, 20hp

I bought a motor and it needs repairs but I do not know the year. I have a serial# it is 7099428 can anyone help me? It also says thunderbolt on the cowling.<br /><br />thank you

It's a 1977 merc 200 20 hp<br />mine is ser # 7090383<br />made almost the same time.<br />Made in canada.<br />Ser # list at maxrules.com
