last season i ran at 3400 rpms,the boat planed out nice i figure it was at half throttle,over the winter i had the lower unit seals done as there was mucho water in the lower unit,Today i took her out for the madien run and noticed,the boat was running at 5000=5500 throttle in the same position as last season.This boat is a 20 ft bow rider with a 150 efi merc,it ran smooth just like last season just a change in rpms .any body got an idea why thanks john

Is the propshaft slipping in the hub? <br /><br />Is the prop cavitating?<br /><br />Are you 500lbs heavier?<br /><br />Could it be a tach issue?
