I'm looking for general tips, lived and learned adviced, and any other hints specific to this OB. <br />It was all original w. 273 hrs. when I bought it; seems to run fine even on the original factory plugs. Looks like usual seasonal service work was done. So far I've checked compression (105-110)and put in new plugs, replaced 120 thermostats w. 130's, and given it a good inspection and tinkered w. obvious needs. Only running observation is WOT is @ 5100 at 39MPH(6100# boat in water). At first thought it was the prop but now that I've inspected the throttle linkage it seems that the TPS could travel a bit further. Have adjusted the play out of it and will try a water trial soon. In-gear manuevering speed at 800 RPM idle is too fast for me, so I may be looking to bring the pitch down anyway. That may bring WOT revs up anyway.
