replacing water pump got the lower unit down 2 inches but how do u unhook the shifter thats what seems to have it in a bind
<br /><br />It would depend on what you have, but it usually has to do with shift linkage. On many models, there is a latch near the carburetor (port side) that swings up and pulls out.
