My 1999 Merc Outboard oil injector is injecting too much oil causing me to foul plugs every 4-6 hours of running. Is there a way to adjust hom much oil is injected? Does this injector need a rebuild? What are the possible problems and solutions?
I have been reading about similar issues and I was wondering if the problem could be the throttle adjustment is off? Anybody know what the correct adjustment should be?
Fouling plugs ... they are wet with oil. I have to change them or clean them pretty often. Not smoking though. Runs great when the plugs are freshly cleaned.
