upper vent screw stuck mariner 150

I have 1998 Mariner 150 and I'm trying to change the lower unit grease but I cannot get the top screw out. I have tried WD 40 and if I torque it any harder I'll round it out and never be able to remove it. Please help, how do I get it out??<br /><br />Randy

Get a proper sized punch or small flathead screwdriver and tap the corners (in the proper direction), this should loosen it up. Try some PB blaster its better then WD40.<br /><br />If you end up rounding it out there are other options...dremel or a screw/bolt extractor.

You could also try an impact driver. I use it quite often.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to borrow a friend's impact driver. If it doesn't work, I may be back.
