Default need gearcase for 1979 yamaha 28
i need to replace my lower gearcase (due to corosion) on my 1979 yamaha 28 longshaft. they are difficult to come by so what options do i have? i.e. using yam 25/30hp gearcase. any help much appreciated.

It is the same gearbox as on the Mariner 28.

thanks enn but i knew that. are there any other possibilities from other years/engine sizes even with slight modification
