I just got a 2002 mercury 115 fourstroke efi that was sitting outside for about 3 years. attempted to start it but fuel was pouring out of the vent line for vst. cleaned the vst and fuel is not leaking out no more. got it started once for a couple of minutes, after trying for a long time, shut it down and changed the oil in the engine and gearcase. tried to start it again after the oil change but have been unable to. while attempting to start it backfires sometimes and once in a while it acts like it wants to start. Getting fuel to the injectors, all plugs are sparking, have tank with new fuel and tank vent is open, primer bulb is firm.
