Check out the mercury switch, it could be bad. Check the blk/yel wiring from switchboxes to mercury switch for a loose connection.

Does the motor die when you pull the kill lanyard? If so, and turning off the ignition key does not kill the motor, then either the ignition switch is bad or has a bad connection at the blk/yel wire. Pulling the kill lanyard or turning off the ignition sends ground to the switch boxes through the blk/yel wire. A break in this circuit would prevent stopping motor.

hi, it doesent die even when the kill lanyard is pulled out, the only way to stop it is by choking it.

You gotta check the blk/ylw wires at the merc. switch. That's what actually kills the engine for you. If the wires are loose or the merc switch is bad, it will never stop.
