:confused: Hi, my name's Brian. I have a problem with my 30hp, serial no.689 S 251029 Japanese (I think). It runs fine on tick over, but when throttled it pulses, throwing the engine from left to right constantly. I have changed the igintion coil for new as stated by old friend but no joy. sounds like a fuel problem.<br /><br />First check that you have clean fuel. This eliminates fuel being stale or having water in it.<br /><br />Check all fuel lines for air leakages, this can really mess fuel delivery to your motor.<br /><br />Then if this doesn't solve your problem, try overhauling your carb. Small blockages can reduce fuel flow leading to the problem you describe.<br /><br />This should fix your problem.
