Help, i've a 60hp brown(gold) band merc outboard with this remote. Can't tell you the model but i'll try to describe:- trim/tilt buttons at top of lever. Square throttle only button at base of lever. Start/choke at rear of main hsg, with kill sw plug in at top front. Basicsally i have gear movement but no throttle, either in lockout or with gears! the throttle lever inside just seems to flap about with no movement by lever itself, in any way shape or form. Does this mean a new remote?? Is it a common fault on this unit. ANY help would REALLY be appreciated, thanx

Re: Quicksilver remote

It's common on that series of control box for the actuating gear for the throttle lever to break in half those box are a bear to work on but I think the part you need is still available
