Kill switch on 1981 25hp tiller???

Is there an aftermarket kit that will allow me to add a kill switch to a 1981 25hp tiller steer o/b or some other way to accomplish this?<br />Thanks,<br />NSpannTx

Is't the kill switch already in the end of the tiller? My 83 25hp mercury had a kill switch right at the end of the tiller handle <br /> Eric

Eric,<br /> Yeah it has the button to "kill" the motor when your ready to, but I want one to kill the motor if I fly out!!! I want to install something like the newer motors have that are on a lanyard and if you fly out it will kill the motor and keep it from continuing to run.

Yes there is, its Sierra Marine #MP40970 cut off switch with lanyard available at marine stores.
