1990 150hp merc: waterpump change procedure

Is the procedure to change out the waterpump in this engine the same as, for example, the procedure used to change the waterpump on my 1985 merc 50hp engine?<br /><br />- put her in gear<br />- drop the lower unit after loosening 5 bolts<br />- replace the pump stuff
