I have a 7.5 merc made in 1978. The carb sputters gas out of a port that sits next to the choke shutter. When the engine is run at low rpms it eventually kills the engine. I believe it is being flooded out. The engine runs great at higher rpms and when running at higher rpms does not have the gas coming out of the port.

This same port will also shoot gas out of it when the motor is being primed. It does not happen a the first few times when you pump the ball, but when the primer buld is full. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks
