Hi from a new member. If anyone out there has an old 1968 65 HP Mercury Outboard lying around that is not running and wants to seel the distributor assembly...specifically the rotor button shaft, please contact me. I have not been able to locate one through the boat parts stores.<br />Specs for my engine are: Serial #2310824, Distributor Cap #393-2955, Rotor Assembly #393-2799<br />I will pay reasonable price for this item in working condition.<br />Thanks,

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I tried contacting them but they haven't responded yet. Hoping they will.<br />My local marine store is searching but after 3 weeks now, they haven't found one either. I may end up buying a new motor after all...LOL.<br />Thanks again.

I found one for my motor as old stock at a retired mechanic's house, still in the original packaging. Look around, one might turn up.<br />Eric

Thanks for the reply Eric. I do hope so. Started my restoration project back in May...neede to replace the floor and all the vinyl. Ran it once and barely made it back tot he boat ramp...LOL.<br />Thanks again.
