IS it as simple as it sounds just un hook the linkage to carbs from oil pump cap the lines and Im done with the oil system?I just have put 2 95 model 130s on my boat and want to rid myself of the oil injection any advice or recomendations.
I have not disabled a Yamaha oil system myself,but they are quite different than their competitors.Yamadog injects oil directly into the intake mani, rather than into the fuel before it reaches the carb or whatever.Thats precision blend,not a bad system,why do you want to ditch it?
Scared it may fail But mainly I just put these 130s on the boat and dont want to add the oil tank and I normally mix my gas with the old motors so I figure I know that wont fail.One thing I am trying to figure out is can I use my existing tachs. I have both digital ones with these engines but they arent the same size so Id like to find out whats involved in using my analog tachs already in the boat. Any help on what wires are the tach wires on the yammies?
