heat alarm goes off on wot after about 3 seconds, runs & starts,idles fine. Have gone thru cooling system,new impeller,gaskets on exhaust system,pulled power head.5000 rpm, 4 lbs on water psi gage, at wot when alarm sounds. Stumped,any advice???
Do you have a temp gauge? Have you made sure plenty of water is coming out of the tell tale. A stuck poppet valve (stock close) could cause you to overheat at higher RPM's.<br /><br />-andy
