New to boating and have read postings. Where is the high speed and low speed adjustments located? I have ordered a repair manual,but,it's on backorder.I have located the idle screw on the front of the carb and it idles fine until I throttle it up.
You need to adjust the idle mix with the prop in the water and the motor in gear, or it will die when you put it in gear. And listen to Laddies, he knows a lot more than I do!
Thanks for your help. I found out on Maxrules exactly what you said,high speed is fixed. I have worked most of the bugs out. I think my problem now is the primer bulb. It's old and one end looks like it's collapsing. Wish me luck. Also, I definitely start it in trash can full of water.
