my 73 merc 650 3 cyl wont start unless the idle arm is up at about 11-12 o'clock. to put it in gear i have to drop the idle and move the throttle arm. no forcefulness, just drop 1 and advance the other. At wide open she runs like a dream but she wont idle without that arm up. I have rebuilt the fuel pump, and added new tanks, not sure where to go from here.<br />Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!
