I have a 1998 75hp Mercury. The battery is fully charged, all running lights work, but when I turn the key in the ignition I get nothing. The gauges don't work, the motor trim doesn't work and the motor doesn't even attempt to start, it's like a battery isn't even attached. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check the main power fuse at the motor. There is a fuse holder near the starter solenoid on the port side of the motor.
