I am looking at buying a 1987 procraft 1650 fish/ski boat with a mariner 115. The motor is a 6 cyclinder. but dont know the year.The only v6 I can find on the internet is a 2000.Can someone tell me what year it might be.I couldnot find a serial number when I looked at it.they are asking 2500$ for the boat it is fair shape and runs good,Would this be a good price.I am new to boats and this would be my first

Mariner is made by Mercury. The serial number should be located on the motor transom plate. get the outboard serial number and plug it in here: <br /><br />Mercury Parts Express<br /><br />Or search here:<br /><br /> Mercruiser Parts
