I want to install a tach (which connects to the unrectified side of the alternator)on my '69 650, but to do so, I need to know the number of poles my alternator has (so it reads accurately). I've scoured my manual for this info, but it's nowhere to be found. If this is unavailable or uncertain info, what's a good test to determine the number of poles? Thanks.
