2002 merc efi salt water

Looking at a used boat tommorow. Does anyone have opinions on this motor? Good or bad please give me some idea of this motor. It has 240 hours on it now.<br /> Thanks, Dead Eye

They are very good motors if they have been taken care of (flushed regularly) and serviced properly.

i have a 2001 merc 200efi thats on its third power head under warranty. i have maintained this motor according to the book with no luck. who knows you may be lucky. before you buy it get the serial# and go to a merc dealer. they cn run it on their computer and find any history.<br /><br /> mistylady <br />3
