Steering cable

Hello all<br />I need help. Long story short I need the OE or replacement part # for the steering cable on a 90 sport jet motor. The boat itself is a 94 Sea Ray Sea Rayder. The cable is at the marina who wqas supposed to fix it now they cant and they lost my original. Please help!!<br />Thank you<br />T

There are several brands of cables that could be used. Look at the helm, where the cable goes in, for a manufacturers name. You'll need the name,type of cable(rotary or flat rack) and length. You might also try SeaRay parts. They might be of some help with what was originally installed.

i have the same problem. the old cable is teleflex sc21711. teleflex says they do not make it anymore and there is no replacement. anybody with a solution?:confused:
