Help I need to find a piston and rings for a 1973 115hp mercury inline 6. the rings broke and #1 piston has low compression can anyone help?thanks

Lumpy, There are several sources on the web. You need to determine if you require an oversize piston or std. size. Then look at www.maxrules.com, www.dougrussell.com, www.vintageoutboard.com etc. If you can find a piston w/ rings + pin for less then $80, you have a good price.

The pistons and rings for those are still an over the counter Mercury item too. Not anything special - yet.-W
