Default Mercury blackmax 150 cylinder head skiming??

Hi,Currently running with a pretty much stock blackmax, fitted a os mid sectio along with velocity stacks. As I cant afford to treat myself to a biiger engine Im looking at increasing the HP with what Ive got and would like to get the cyclinder heads skimmed. Heres my questions, I want to take it up to 145 (ish) psi so how do I work out how much needs to come of?Thanks

I have no clue....But be very careful... You are running v-stacks on an engine that runs hotter than most in the pure stock state...You should look at re-jetting carbs to reduce lean condition (if you haven't already). Also look at low water pick-up (if you haven't already)? What you will have even with the above is... A louder engine, that uses more fuel, and probably gain only a few hp at WOT...But if you want my opinion, go with .02-.03 to start. But don't set that in stone and don't hold me accountable...Maybe we will get Dhadley on here to chime in or CLams...
