Default '79, 115 Mercury timing pointer??

motor ran, but was skipping a little.was setting the timing pointer as per manual, .464 mark is out of range of pointer, by 5 or 6 deg.fly wheel cheched out ok.any suggestions.

Just make sure the pointer is at true TDC on the #1 cylinder. Then follow my timing and sync post that up here now.-W

Clams Caninoso I realy don't have to set the timing pointer to the .464 mark?I just set it at TDC & time it from there?Thanks
