down trim on the throttle wont work

the down trim on the quick silver classic wont work but it works on the front of the boat. Does anyone know how to take the throttle control apart?

It may not be the trim switch in the throttle. Mine wasn't. Check the connectors on the wire from the throttle to the motor. I cut and recrimped the connected wires and it works fine.<br /> Dead Eye
