Hi,

I have a kit to convert my 2002 Mariner 20hp from tiller to remote steering & controls. Everything has gone well but when I fit the bracket to which the steering drag link attaches it rubs hard on the steering friction adjustment lever. Should this lever be removed? If so, do I then replace the nut that held on this lever and set the steering friction to what I want or should the steering friction parts be removed too? If I put the steering bracket on the other way up it doesn't snag the lever, but I think that is the wrong way up. No, I don't have the instructions to fit this kit, but if anyone has and can email them to me that would be great!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jonathan.
