i have a 1989 60 hp that the beeper is going off on. it is a solid beep that starts at about 1/2 throttle. water pump is new, water coming out of the pee hole. thier is a small sensor next to the # 1 spark plug. is this were it checks the temp. if so at what temp does it go to ground to set the beeper off, and can it be check to see if it is good. if not how do you check to see if it is over heating are not.
