1995 Mercury 175EFI About RPM's...

Hello,

I have a 1995 Mercury 175EFI. Can anyone tell me at what RPM should my boat run at idle, in neutral, on the muffs?... What about in the water, in gear at idle? Thanks a million...

According to service manual idle should be 600-700 in fwd gear.

Will have a look for neutral ....

Can the idle be adjusted with the throttle cable itself? It looks like I'm out of adjustment on the linkage arm...

On ,muffs it will run about 1000-1100rpm-in water 625-725. As for the setting the throttle barrrel won't change it. I need to know what you mean by looks out of adjustment. If ya need a copy of how to do the idle email me at docd32000@yahoo.com and I will send you a copy of the manual.
